The stationary MAN engines for gensets sure are special. They work reliably, are low on consumption, react quickly to changes in load and are ideal for emergency power supply, peak load and continual operations as well as performing with endurance in cogeneration plants. In addition to the environmentally friendly diesel engines with outputs of 151 kW (205 hp) to 718 kW (976 hp) there are the amazingly clean 4-stroke Otto gas engines with ratings of 37 kW to 420 kW, especially for use in cogeneration plants. All MAN engines are compact in design and economic in operation.
