MAN leading, trailing and center axles come from large-scale series production for commercial vehicles and meet the most demanding requirements.

The HONG-1100 is a non-driven rigid axle.

This 11.5 t axle has been developed specifically for low-floor buses and is a cast iron construction with a center hollow section. The two axle stubs are secured to the axle housing by method of friction welding.

All bearings are oil-lubricated.

Wheel hubs are made of nodular cast iron.

The HONG-1100 axle is equipped with pneumatically actuated s-cam drum brakes and features automatic brake lining adjustment, wear indicators on both, OEM brake linings and slack adjuster.

All brake linings are asbestos-free.

This axle can be equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS).

Only rims and tires cleared by MAN may be fitted.

The brake cylinders are pneumatically actuated and as a customer option, are included in the delivery content of the axle.
